THE GENERALS
ALL- STAR PROGRAMS
Our Generals Program is our highly competitive All-Star baseball and softball program.
OVERVIEW OF OUR PROGAM
This program is designed for players who are ready for more competitive baseball and softball. Our Generals teams play an extensive tournament schedule throughout the summer with a significant practice commitment.
These teams keep focus on our values but provide a higher level of competition against other programs across the city and state. Many programs would call their equivalent program “Part-Time Travel” or something similar. We use the word “All-Stars” as our players typically earn their spots on the team through house league performance and effort.
The Generals season starts in late June. Our Generals baseball teams compete in the Cal Ripken / Babe Ruth Tournament Trail. The Cal Ripken Tournament trail culminates in an incredible World Series Tournament in early August for teams that earn their way through the State and Regional Tournaments. Our Generals softball teams compete in the Chicago Sunday League Memorial Tournament, among several others throughout the Midwest.

This program is named after the namesake of Sheridan Park, General Phillip Henry Sheridan. General Sheridan was a civil war hero and later was instrumental in limiting the spread of Chicago’s great fire in 1871..
